Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort: A New Place to Get Married in Langkawi

Langkawi has a new place to get married. Hilton Burau Bay Langkawi Resort was announced in June 2026, and Hilton held its official launch in September.
I have not been there yet. I plan to visit. Everything below comes from Hilton, so check it with the resort before you plan around it.

Where it is
The resort is on Teluk Burau, between tropical rainforest and the Andaman Sea. Hilton says it covers nearly 22 acres and has a 650-metre private beachfront.

What it offers for a wedding
Hilton lists over 5,400 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space. The Orchid Grand Ballroom is a pillarless room of 4,455 square feet, for up to 210 guests. There are two smaller function rooms, Orchid and Jasmine. The Grand Lawn and the private beachfront are also available for celebrations.

251 rooms and suites, 16 of them connecting rooms for families. Three swimming pools. Four restaurants, from Asian and Italian to Yunnan cuisine.

Why I want to shoot here
I would love to photograph wedding ceremonies at the Hilton. A new venue, with the rainforest on one side and the sea on the other.
I cannot tell you yet how the light falls on the lawn or the beach, or how a ceremony would look there. I will update this post after I visit.
